What changed from the previous generation
- Duration doubled from Wan 2.7's 15 seconds to 30 seconds.
- Document input added — the first Wan generation to read decks, spreadsheets and PDFs.
- Audio is switchable per request through the audio parameter, so silent renders are an explicit choice.
- Aspect ratio can be set to adaptive, letting the model pick the frame from the prompt.

FAQ
Is Wan 3.0 available on Slloy?
Not yet. Slloy runs Wan 2.7 T2V, Wan 2.6 I2V, Wan 2.2 Lite and Wan 2.2 I2V through the same Alibaba DashScope channel that serves Wan 3.0, so the upgrade path is a model swap rather than a new integration.
How much would Wan 3.0 cost per clip?
Alibaba lists 0.3, 0.6 and 1.2 CNY per second at 480P, 720P and 1080P. A 5-second 1080P clip is therefore about 6 CNY at list price, and a 30-second 1080P clip about 36 CNY. For comparison, Slloy's Wan 2.7 currently outputs 5 seconds of 1080p for 250 credits.
What can I use on Slloy today instead?
Wan 2.7 T2V for text to video with native audio and multi-shot, Wan 2.6 I2V to animate a still up to 1080p, and the Wan 2.2 variants for cheap drafts. All four run on the same channel, so output style stays consistent.
Does Wan 3.0 support image to video?
Yes, in two forms: a single first frame, or first and last frames together, which pins both the opening and closing composition. That is a tighter control than Wan 2.6 I2V offers on Slloy today.
What are Wan 3.0's known limits?
Alibaba states that audio quality and on-screen text rendering are still being improved. The model also does not support function calling, structured output, web search, context caching, batch inference or fine-tuning.
